The Milestones That Matter
Share your experience and help shape the next Positive Parenting project!
We’re excited to share that Dr Terence Sheppard is embarking on a new project exploring one of the
biggest questions in parenting:
What are the milestones that truly matter when it comes to raising resilient, confident kids?
Drawing on decades of experience in child development and psychology, Dr Sheppard is looking beyond the usual milestones of walking, talking and starting school. Instead, he’s exploring the moments and lessons that build resilience – the quiet, powerful experiences that help children grow into capable, compassionate adults.
This book is packed full of the knowledge, skills, personal responsibilities, and behaviours we believe children should develop progressively during their first 18 years of life, but to truly capture what resilience looks like in families today, we want to hear from you!
Whether you’re a parent, grandparent or caregiver, your insights and stories can help shape this project and the upcoming book. Every family faces unique challenges, and your real-life experiences can shed light on what helps children thrive in a changing world.
To say thank you, everyone who completes the survey will go into the draw to win a $200 grocery gift card!
